West Country Worms is a family run business based on a small working farm in the rolling South Devon countryside. Our aim is to provide environmentally friendly solutions for all aspects of composting home and garden waste. We give our customers common sense advice and support in dealing with their household and garden waste.
We manufacture worm bins, make our own compost and breed worms all of which can be used for home waste disposal. We also supply good quality compost bins, food digesters, water saving equipment and other environmental products that are beneficial to both householder and the environment.
West Country Worms was established in 1999 as a result of growing frustration with the lack of efficient domestic food waste disposal systems available, in the increasing throw away culture surrounding food. We believe that any organically based household waste can be composted and returned to the soil to replenish nutrients and improve soil structure. This is as applicable to a window box or pot as it is to a large scale farm operation.
